What can you do on the watch?
- Start a saved routine from the watch. Your routines sync from the FitJot phone app.
- Log weight and reps on scroll wheels and tick off each set, in kg or lb.
- Change the plan mid-workout: add, replace or reorder exercises, and group them into supersets.
- Rest timer on your wrist that buzzes when rest is over, so your phone can stay in your bag.
- Stays on your watch face as an ongoing activity, one tap from the workout.
- Finish on the watch and the workout is saved to your log, with PRs, history and charts on your phone.
What do I need?
- A watch running Wear OS 3 or later, such as a Samsung Galaxy Watch4 or newer, or a Google Pixel Watch.
- The FitJot app on your Android phone, signed in. Routines come from the phone, and finished workouts are saved through it.
If a finished workout can't reach your phone right away, it waits on the watch and syncs when the phone is back in range.
Questions
Is the FitJot Wear OS app free?
Yes. Logging from your watch is free for everyone, with no ads. FitJot Plus is an optional subscription that adds things like Auto Pilot weight suggestions and advanced stats in the phone app.
Does it track heart rate or calories?
No. FitJot is a strength training log: you enter your weight and reps, and the app doesn't read your watch's sensors. Pair it with your watch's own fitness app if you want heart rate.
Does it work without my phone?
The watch app needs the FitJot phone app installed and signed in: that's where your routines come from and where workouts are saved. You don't need to hold the phone during the workout.
Does it work with an iPhone?
Wear OS watches don't pair with iPhones. On iPhone, FitJot has an Apple Watch app instead (watchOS 11 or later), which works with the FitJot iPhone app.
What else does FitJot do?
On the phone, FitJot logs a set in two taps, starts the rest timer for you, detects PRs and charts your progress. Try the plate calculator and 1RM calculator on the web.
